michael Stayed at Venus, Pamukkale for 4 days and loved everything about it. Food was extraordinary, staff was just great, every single one of them was a person to rembember. (Ibrahim,Karyn, Yusuf and many others, thank you!)Many thanks to breakfast cook Karyn, whom my children still talk about and his great scrambled eggs :)! The only complaint I would have is the decoration (or lack of) in the rooms, as they are too simple, and furniture has seen better days. I did not appreciate old bathroom either. Also, it would be nice to provide a drying rack for clothes, since balconies are so spacious.Overall, this hotel is 10 minutes (by foot) from city center, and features great views, beautiful Fruit trees, great pool and really, really good food. 06.06.2008
Justin I loved the hotel, the room was spacious and nicely decorated. All the reception staff spoke excellent english and were very helpful. You can not beat the location of this Hotel. If I went back I would have the Hotel car service meet me at the trian station. I loved the free internet access in the room, it came in handy to look at train schedules and etc. We had a basic room, not the loft and it was still plenty of room. Nice touch with the heated bathroom floor. The breakfast was very good; fruits, juices, eggs, cucumbers cheese and many more items. Only wish I could have had a hotel like this for the rest of the cities I visited. Enjoy! Justin 06.06.2008
Kenji We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was well located in the center of Pamukkale within walking distance of the Pamukkale and Hierapolis. The owners were very friendly and helpful and thedinner was freshly prepared and so so tasty. Along with the Local Cave House in Goreme and the Lapaloma Hotel in Antalya, this was one of the nicest places we stayed in Turkey and I would thoroughly recommend it. 06.06.2008
Ralf Lovely pension, great food (mum's cooking!), nice restaurant and swimming pool. Very close to Hierapolis and Pamukkale waters. Excellent price-quality ratio! 06.06.2008
Steve Petersen Abraham met us at the front gate and welcomed us. They have just gone through a complete remodeling and gave us a tour. His family had grown up in the region and was able to give us information that made our stay more enjoyable. We were invited for dinner and his mom cooked an authenic Trukish meal,it was delicious and very reasonable. We left feeling as though we had stayed with family instead. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Pamukkale. 06.06.2008
Margeret We stayed one night in Hotel Venus and we wished it could it have been for a lot longer. This hotel takes service to another level, the staff are so warm and caring and helped us out loads. The Ottaman corner is beautiful, the food is great, the views are the best in town. The reception area is a great place to chill and absorb the warm atmosphere in the hotel while listening to live music and seeing the breathtaking views. The rooms are adequate and very clean, tastefully decorated in a turkish genre. The best part of our stay at Hotel Venus was the helpful, friendly owners - Ibraham and Karen - and the rest of their staff. These are genuinely nice people with great advice and they made our time in and around Pamukkale a wonderful one! Overall if you are planning to stay in Pamukkale, definately stay here, and if this is not on your agenda, make it! Margaret and Bill 06.06.2008
